On September 22, 2024, the third stage of the Romanian Retro Racing competition took place at the MotorPark Romania circuit.
EnergyPal had the pleasure of sponsoring two exceptional drivers: Andrei Tureanu and Alex Mitroi in this adrenaline-packed event featuring experienced competitors and remarkable cars. The two talented athletes participated with BMW 325 E30 models, prepared by the Tureanu Racing team.

About the performances on the circuit
Andrei Tureanu, the reigning champion of the 2023 season, once again proved why he deserves to be considered one of the best drivers in auto competitions. With extensive experience in both circuit racing and rallying, Andrei managed to win both races at MotorPark Romania, thus securing 1st place overall. His performance is all the more remarkable given that this was his first circuit race of the year.
On the other hand, Alex Mitroi, a veteran of hill climbs and rallies, had the opportunity for the first time to experience the emotions and challenges of a circuit race. Although Alex is an experienced driver in such competitions, this was his debut in Romanian Retro Racing. Alex demonstrated that his driving techniques from hill climb tracks can be successfully adapted to the circuit, which gives us confidence that he will have an upward trajectory in future competitions.
